Vancouver bible studies

There are 66 books in the Bible, but it is a complete unit. We believe that the divine author of the Bible is God Himself, and he inspired different prophets, kings and disciples to author different books in the Bible. Reading parts of the Bible and ignoring others would be equivalent to tearing apart a novel and throwing away parts of it. A dear teacher and friend, Dr. J.I. Packer, calls the Bible a love letter from God to us, and in order to know God and Jesus Christ, we need to study this love letter. If you are new to studying the Bible, Bible in a Day and Christianity Explored is where you start.

All Bible Studies are up and running after Easter!

Sunday Mornings

We have just wound up the spring sessions.

In September we resume working our way through St. Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians! You are welcome to learn about Paul's deep love for these people and his passionate teachings to keep them strong in faith. Sundays at 11:00 am. If you miss a session, no problem, each week is a separate teaching unit. Come for great lively discussions!

Women's Luncheon

Either on the 2nd or 3rd Saturday ... 11 am -1:00 pm. Come for worship, study, prayer, and a prepared luncheon (by donation). Parking is reserved at the side and front of the church. Invite! Bless! Love!
Our next Luncheon is a servant event serving soup and buns on June 25th.

Sunday School

Wil start again September 11th - on the first Sunday after the long weekend!

How things usually work: following worship, at 10:35 a.m., the Pre-Schoolers have their class followed at 11:00 am with Sunday School lessons for school age children. Crafts, bible lessons, interactive discussion are the order of the day. Yes, they WILL grow like mad! (On Sundays when we have brunch, we normally all go down into the Fellowship Hall - gymn - to eat)

Golden Agers

Prorogued for a summer break, we start again on Thursday September 8.

We meet on Thursday mornings at 10:30 and are studying the Gospel of Mark. Come for great singing, conversation, prayer, and discussions. We all usually bring a bag lunch and eat together afterwards.

Christianity Explored

We will explore the Gospel of Mark to discover who Jesus is, why He came, and what it means to follow Him. Read more
